Playing With Fire

Playing With Fire

This one means so much to me.

Follow me on an adventure of discovery, one that brings you along as I figure out how we got here, and how we find our way back to a good state. Not just with one issue, but with everything. Everything right and wrong in society, and a real roadmap for getting us home.

Here's what I found: for roughly 40,000 years, women were in power. Not ruling over men, but revered, because life itself came from their bodies. Then, about 5,000 years ago, something shifted. Writing, religion, weapons, and land all became tools to take that power and lock it away. That is not how it always was. It is how it became.

Playing With Fire traces that whole path, one piece at a time, through etymology, archaeology, and the myths we still live by today. It is not an accusation. It is a map.

The best part: I think we are good at heart. We are in a mess though, socially, religiously, politically, all at one another's throats. It does not have to be that way.

My biggest revelation in all of this is that LOVE CREATES LIFE. One being is not in charge, life requires more than that. Diversity leads to longevity. We cannot do anything alone. Love heals, it creates, and it gives us a reason for being.

So why is there so much hate?

Nothing was created in a vacuum. No one person, thing, or event got us here. It was a compilation of things, over many generations, and once you can see that, it gives you empathy for the past instead of anger at it.

And I came at all of this from Santa Claus.

I am an engineer turned mother. I became obsessed with learning the truth. What I found made everything more hopeful and more beautiful, giving context to things that still feel too dangerous to talk about. Once upon a time, people were killed for saying even part of what I am trying to say here.

Do you dare look?

And please, PLEASE tell me what you think. Message me at rationalbody@gmail.com. I try not to open comments, because I want this to be a safe space. This is my place to be fully open and write freely. But I do want to know your thoughts.

With all my love,
