Happy Monkey Smoothie

Happy Monkey Smoothie

Inspired from the Happy Monkey Smoothie (plus kale) at Pura Vida Raw Foods in Costa Rica

  • banana, peanut butter, cocoa powder, kale, ice

And other variations:

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 frozen banana

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk

  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon

  • 2 tbsp peanut butter

  • 1 scoop Vega Essential Chocolate Protein Powder

Instructions

  1. In a high powdered blender, blend almond milk and frozen bananas until smooth. (Tip: cut bananas very small before freezing so they don't break your blender) 

  2. Add cinnamon, peanut butter, and protein powder. Blend on high until creamy and smooth. Pour into a fancy glass, drizzle peanut butter on top, and enjoy! 

Ingredients

  • 2 overripe, frozen large bananas (should be at least partially brown before peeling and freezing)

  • 4-6 tbsp peanut butter or pb2, or allergy-friendly sub

  • 1 1/2 to 2 cups milk of choice, depending on desired thickness

  • scant 1/8 tsp salt

  • optional 1/3 cup quick oats or rolled oats

  • sweetener of choice, to taste

  • optional scoop protein powder

    • blend the oats until a fine powder forms, then add all remaining ingredients and blend until smooth.

  • 2 frozen bananas

  • 3/4 cup almond milk (homemade or store-bought)

  • 2 Tablespoons cocoa powder

  • 1/4 cup natural peanut butter

  • pinch of sea salt

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 7 ice cubes (about 2 handfuls)

  • 1 Cup Unsweetened almond milk

  • 1 Cup Crushed ice

  • 1/4 Cup Avocado (about 1/2 an avocado or 60g)

  • 3 Tbsp Monkfruit, or to taste

  • 2 Tbsp Natural creamy peanut butter (Almond butter for paleo)

  • 1 Tbsp Unsweetened cocoa powder

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 1/2 cups unsweetened nut milk

  • 1 scoop collagen peptides

  • 2 Tbsp almond butter

  • 2 Tbsp golden flax meal

  • ½ tsp cinnamon

  • 15 drops liquid stevia

  • 1/8 tsp almond extract

  • 1/8 tsp salt

  • 6–8 ice cubes
